On weekends, Victoria and her friend ride bikes to a coffee shop in the city center, even in the rain, because Hanoi is incredibly beautiful. Yes! We only work with schools that can provide full legal status for our teachers. Please note that to receive all legal documents in Vietnam, such as the Work Permit and Temporary Resident Card, you are obliged to provide us with a copy of your bachelor’s degree.
With the Temporary Resident Card, you can open a bank account, enjoy good discounts while traveling, leave and enter a country, and use this card as your local passport.

- Each company will have a clause in the contract regarding piercings and tattoos, but in reality, it's not as strict as written in the contract. There are many teachers in schools here with dreadlocks, piercings, and tattoos, and companies are okay with that.

- Every classroom in MANA partner schools in Vietnam has a TA (teacher assistant) – it’s a Vietnamese person who can speak English and is going to support you throughout the class, help you translate things, prepare materials for you, bring water, and explain grammatical structures in Vietnamese.
- Yes, our schools support accommodation renting and motorbikes for teachers, BUT only those located in smaller cities and towns. 98% of schools in big cities won’t provide an apartment.
MANA provincial schools usually provide either a free apartment beside schools or a room right in the English center. In case you prefer to live in another place – the company might sponsor $50-$250 monthly for renting fees.

Vietnam is considered a safe country. Vietnamese are happy to welcome both tourists and qualified teachers. You are going to stay in Vietnam under a work permit and receive a Vietnam resident card. So yes! It’s completely legal and safe.
